- A Quiz settings button under the player bar opens a small card above
it with the quiz settings, including Auto repeat, which moves there
from under the player bar. The card does not dim the quiz, so it can
be changed during a song, and grows to fit its rows.
- A Settings button in the top bar opens the application settings:
server, fullscreen and songs to download ahead. Quick sync is gone,
as the server no longer has it, and the server list is in Settings.
- Labels use sentence case, and seconds to hide show as whole numbers.
- Debug builds switch to the local server and a low winning score in
the Settings autoload, before any scene asks the server for anything.
The DEBUG label moves to the top bar, so it shows on every tab.
- Search moves from the top bar back to the quiz toolbar, as the
Statistics tab has its own search.
Every popup is now called *Popup instead of *Window in its file, root node,
node name, class and variable, and PopupWindow becomes BasePopup. Player is
PlayerRow, SongListObject is SongRow and Character is CharacterCard. Script
files are snake_case and scene files PascalCase, each matching its class or
root node, and LightGrayTheme.tres is light_gray_theme.tres.
NowPlaying, QuizToolbar and SongControls become their own scenes, the auto
repeat switch moves into the music player scene, and downloading songs moves
into a SongLoader node. The quiz only wires the parts together. Every node
keeps its place on screen.
Screenshots of every UI state are pixel-identical to before, the layout test
still matches the original baseline, and each new part has its own tests.
The quiz (song, playlist, players, music player and the popups opened from
it) moves into Quiz.tscn and the top panel into TopBar.tscn. The main window
keeps only the top bar, the quiz and the popups opened from the top bar, so
other views can be added next to the quiz later. Every node keeps its place
on screen.
Screenshots of every UI state before and after are pixel-identical, and a
layout test checks each node against a baseline taken before the split.
Winning turned statistics off and nothing turned them back on, while
the Settings checkbox still showed them as on. Resetting points now
turns them back on if the win turned them off, and the checkbox shows
the current state when Settings is opened.
A winning score of 1 could never be won and with 2 the first point was
not announced as match point, because the first-point check ran first.
The winning score also could not be kept from going below 1.
